ABOUT ME
Hi, My name is Amir! I’ve been a wedding and portrait photographer for 14 years, based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Originally from Mexico, I’ve spent more than half of my life in the U.S., and though I’ve also lived in New York, North Carolina is where I’ve found home. I moved here to live with my wife, whom I met online, and we’ve been happily married for 15 years. Together, we have four wonderful kids—Hamza, Yusuf, Sofia, and Rasheed—and this year, we welcomed our cat, Chloe, into the family.
My fascination with photography started as a simple curiosity about how cameras work. Over time, it quickly grew into a deep passion that fulfills me today. I love using my craft to preserve people’s most cherished moments for generations to come. I’m driven by the connections people share and the unique stories that unfold in every session.
